We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working apprentice, who has a passion for creativity and hairdressing to join our team. You will attend college one day a week, and the rest of the time will be spent in the CW salon where you will receive in house training, develop customer service skills.

What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working apprentice, who has a passion for creativity and hairdressing to join our team. You will attend college one day a week, and the rest of the time will be spent in the CW salon where you will receive in house training, develop customer service skills.
Duties will include:
- Greeting clients
- Shampooing hair
- Supplying refreshments to clients and looking after the presentation of the salon
Training will take place one day per week in house training and one day a week at college.
Once you have completed at college you will then undertake a senior role as a head assistant. This is where you will be able to choose your dedicated path to specialise in the area you desire and get multiple model days during the week and run your own column.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training Provider: BROMLEY COLLEGE OF FURTHER AND HIGHER EDUCATION.
On programme Training:
- Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 1 and/or 2 Functional Skills in English and maths
- Institute of Apprenticeship Certificate
End point assessment:
- A practical assessment
- Oral questioning
- The practical assessment and oral questioning will assess the learner’s professionalism, values, behaviours, communication, safe working practices and consultation skills
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
To be discussed at the end of apprenticeship.
